Yaoi werefangirlism

This is the accumulation of links I've picked up, randomly and haphazardedly, during proposal season. It's been an insane few days; proposals always seem to knock me 'round the bend, and this time was worse than usual! Didja miss me? (Don't answer that ;) I have been bolstered by repeated listenings of the Matrix 2's album (a lovely impulse buy), repeated games of Gauntlet (my falconess is now almost level fifty), building my own zoo (another lovely impulse buy), and a bunch of manga. *sweatdrop* I'm turning into a yaoi fangirl, people. I read Gravitation and liked it... and then I picked up Fake and liked it (Ryo and Dee's relationship is hysterical), and I'm already reading Demon Diary and Yami no Matsuei. I'm doomed. [livejournal.com profile] s1ncer1ty, this is all YOUR FAULT. Well... your's and Quatre's and Trowa's... (for which I have [livejournal.com profile] kalla to thank).

If I start writing girly fanfiction with clearly defined ukes and semes and the ukes always being knocked out and wearing pink, someone had better shoot me. If I do any of this to Dee and Ryo, bring silver bullets because I have become a werefangirl and will not be easy to kill.

Do I get points for a perfect Yaoi couple? ;)

Check out the Boondocks for today (link goes bad in two weeks). I have to agree with Dean; I think he is the gods' gift to the Democratic Party. Now, if he can just keep that integrity through the campaign and still get elected, we'll at least have an honest President.

I have new Avatars! Check them out.

Check out these Airline One Liners. A couple of these had me stifling snickering. And here's a second, more thought inducing speech by a (I believe) Libertarian. It's a Commencement Speech he wrote in protest to never being invited to give speeches.

Oh, yeah, and I like lj's new format. Pretty blue!! The drop down menues will take a little getting used to, but I think the idea is fly.
