Remote Viewing
May. 24th, 2003 09:35 amSo, here I am in Annville, PA at a conference, and windows is once again my free use computer of choice. I realized a couple of years ago that they had a computer lab, and quickly realized that they didn't use any security whatsoever. All for the good, as far as I'm concerned, since I can type to this from anywhere.
I get to do tissue paper collage today. ^_^ I can't wait! It'll be so fun. I haven't done tissue paper collage in ages, and I'm really looking forward to play time. My group looks to be a lot of fun, too; everyone's fairly interested in not taking things seriously, which I really need this year. Plus, Jean is leading it and I've always liked her.
So, here I am in a computer lab, typing in comments, and being strongly reminded of the days long before when I practically lived in the computer labs on campus. I think this is officially nostalgia weekend.
It's raining outside, still. I may ignore the rain and visit the roses this afternoon, and mom wants to go to a store so we can pick up blankets (it's freezing in our dorm room and the heater seems incapable of stopping before it boils us in our own juices) and maybe a few other sundries. Upstairs, approximately eighty people are sitting in a room being quiet and waiting for god to tell them something they should tell everyone else.
Quakers.
Since the idea of going to Meeting for Worship is as appealing to me as going to the dentist, I pass. There are very good reasons why I'm not a Quaker!! 8) The nice thing is that it gives me an extra hour in the morning. The sad thing is that breakfast ends before meeting starts, so I still have to get up early if I want to eat. Fascist morning people.
