Now I'm Turquoise!! )

Ever had one of those days where you were asked to do something else the second you got halfway through the last thing someone else asked you to do? Yeah, me too.

  • High-Tech Heroin: This person is obviously writing from the "how dare the RIAA" point of view, but s/he brings up some interesting questions about the nature of technology and our relationship too it. I've got a rant/set of commentary brewing on this subject, but it's only half-baked at the moment. There is an obvious irony is asking the following question where I'm asking it: "What effect does having a 'virtual' or 'digital' existance have on our psyche's and our lives outside of digital format like the internet?"
  • Service entangles church, state: M. Charles Baskt brings up some interesting issues regarding the separation of church and state in times or war and difficulty. (login: blather@blather.com password: blather)
  • Voting System Rotten: Anyone have any knowledge of this? I may have to do some digging.
  • "The one and only concept of marriage in Islam is between a man and a woman.": That's fine. Don't let two men marry under Islamic law. Don't let two women marry under Catholic law - and the Pope has every right to excommunicate anyone who disobeys him. That's why he's the Pope. Duh. However, keep your fucking religious preferences out of my fucking Constitution. 'kay bye.
  • Grassroots Commandments: Now this is how the 10 commandments should be displayed; on private property at the discretion of the owners. You go Christians! Honor your god!
