"I can't come to the phone now, so if, well, actually, I CAN come to the phone now, I mean, like, I'm at the phone NOW, recording this message, but I'm doing this NOW, while you're listening to it LATER, except for you I guess it's NOW, like, when you're listening to it... I mean, like, wait, gosh. This is so confusing."
I need an answering machine message like this... check out the list of all of them!
See it. Love it.
And then we have the guy who tried to answered every question on the SAT wrong. Combine this with a webpage on M.C. Escher and we have a surreal day. (Oh! And check out Google today! It's Escher day!)
Tuesday:
This or That Tuesday
1. Newspapers or magazines?
Whichever is available, though I tend to read my newspapers online now.
2. Books-on-tape or regular books?
Books on tape when I want to clean or do things or drive places and books at night curled up under the covers. ^_^
3. Paperback or hardcover?
Paperback. Hardcover is too heavy to hold when you're sleepy.
4. Fiction or non-fiction?
Fiction. I'm a fiction junkie. I can read non-fiction, but it tires me out quicker.
5. Sci-Fi/Fantasy or romance novels?
Sci-fi fantasy. My romances have been depressing me lately.
6. Borrow from library or buy books (either new or used)?
Buy! I love owning books. Then you can read them and reread them and read them again...
7. Subscribe to magazines or buy on newsstand?
Buy on newsstands.
8. Current best-sellers or classic literature?
Classic literature. I love my Austin and Dostoevsky.
9. Read books once, or re-read favorites every so often?
Re-read favorites every so often. Sometimes, my books are the only predictable thing in my life.
10. Here in the U.S., we have two hot best-sellers...former First Lady Hillary Clinton's memoirs, and the new Harry Potter book (coming out June 21). If you had to read one, which one...Hillary or Harry? Why?
Harry Potter! I want I want I want! Our combine apartments are getting, like, ten copies all put together. We're all Potter junkies, and have been for years. It's such a good series.
