Tomato War Updates

In the wake of the Tomato War (which was a blast and you all fucking rule), humor of a secondary sort has presented itself - it he form of outsider comments.

rriam-Webster calls it a berry:
1: the usually large rounded typically red or yellow pulpy
berry of a tomato
Tomatoes were categorized as a vegetable by the US government in 1893 for
trade purposes, and later, catsup was classified as a vegetable so it
would serve as such in school lunches.
Tomatoes, one source notes, are "categorized as a fruit but eaten as a
vegetable".
As for the argument about the lack of tomatoes in a fruit salad, guava is
a fruit, but I usually don't find them in such a salad.
Avocados are similarly a fruit, but are also treated as vegetables.[/quote]
