Dear Mouthbreather with Caller ID:
No, really, you don't need to return every call made to your telephone, especially when the person didn't leave a message. Although I am the receptionist and I know a lot, "Someone who works with non-destructive technology, maybe in the lab" is really not helpful when trying to figure out who the fuck called you.
Stop expecting me to know who the fuck called you.
No love,
Your POed Neighborhood Receptionist

Date: 2005-11-09 08:51 pm (UTC)I have one - no doubt kissing cousin to your caller - who used to call trying to reach the former owner of my cell phone number (I used to get a fair few of those & feel I almost know the kid) after I explained that no, XYZ doesn't have this phone anymore, she asked for his new number. When I explained cell phones don't work that way, she became increasingly belligerent and threatened to "come down and teach me a lesson" 0_o She calls back a week later, apologizes, and asks if she can NOW have his new number.
