PSA RE: Spirit Animal/Totem

I know this is an issue that has been keeping many of you up late at night, spoiling otherwise lovely hours of repose, so I felt the need to apraise you immediately of my awe inspiringly accurate realization.

My Spirit Animal is the rainbow! It is bright, and ephemerial, and frequently sillily found hanging out in the gutter. It likes bubbles and oceans and rainy days. It has a nasty habit of being there one moment and gone the next. It isn't terribly reliable, but it can be a lot of fun. It is wide and round and sometimes double or triple sized. In short, I can think of no other spirit animal that suits me better.

...what do you mean rainbows aren't animals? DX

**blinkblink**

y'know, I had never thought about it in that way, but you are right.

And rainbows can be whatever you want them to be. Anyone who says different is just wrong!!

^^ Rainbows are people too!

Yeah, but you gotta admit, most people would freak right the hell out if a rainbow walked up to them on the street and said 'Hello'

oh, man, I just had a mental image of a rainbow opening the door and giving the long, drawn out 'hellooooo' from Rocky Horror. Wiggling the ends of it's bands the way Richard wiggled his fingers......

I found the end of a rainbow, once. it was in the middle of a road, so i couldn't DIG or anything, but I found it. Few people believe me. Which is fine.

I don't think I have a spirit animal. I probably am one.

That is so cool. I haven't sought out the ends of rainbows nearly enough, I think.

Why are there so many songs about rainbows?

So, this means you've given up your totem of duck-billed platypus?

*giggles, ducks, and runs like hell*

"After the storm, the sky stayed dark but across the horizon was a brilliant rainbow....Leroy bet me I couldn't find a pot of gold at the end, and I told him that was a stupid bet because the rainbow was enough."
