There are Wolves in the Walls. Besides finding the wolves, Neil is also working with Marvel Comics on a new comic series, taking the stock characters and moving them back in time 400 years. It sounds fascinating!
Look out! Also, anyone with the name Lemony Snicket has to be a good author. It's simply required. Also found in the author hunt, one of my perennial favorites, Diana Wynn Jones.
Did you know they wrote Songs Celebrating the Justice League of America? Neither did I, until today. Now you know too.

One of my co-workers gave me a lovely cup carved out of ebony. Unwilling to expose it to the dangers of holding pens (leakage and spots), and on the suggestion of another co-worker, I'm going to purchase a few native Indian silk flowers and arrange them in the cup. It really is a lovely thing; lions, and elephant and a gazelle roam through trees on the sides of it in elegant detail. In my wanderings, I found out that a lot of flowers I think of as "American" flowers are actually Indian!
